Availability of scarce resources in youth aid

New publication online

The quality and accessibility of youth care is an important issue: the newspapers are full of it and politics is overflowing. Vulnerable young people and families have to deal with waiting lists too often, municipalities and providers say they have too little money for a solid aid offer. One thing people do agree on; this has to change.Together with administrators Mariënne Verhoef and Anke van Dijke, colleague Jos Smeenge wrote this publication with possible solutions and a practical mindset to give a reform hands and feet.

New publication online

In the midst of preparations for this publication on the institutional challenge for specialized care in youth aid, the new briefing from State Secretary Maarten van Ooijen fell on the mat. He calls for robust reforms within the current system. A lot is still unclear regarding the changes and their implementation. This booklet can hopefully provide a concrete handle.

We hope to inspire you with this edition and see with us (new) opportunities to further improve the Dutch healthcare system.
