About work at EHdK
EHdK is 100% specialized in achieving social innovation in the care of vulnerable people. We work among others in Youth Care, GGZ, addiction care, elderly care, VG and the social domain. In this we do all kinds of projects such as setting up integrated care for families and for people with severe psychiatric disorders. Other projects we do include tackling suicide prevention in the GGZ and youth care by teaching administrators how to deal with suicide prevention, as well as projects such as transforming youth care into more modern forms of management and small-scale facilities and helping municipalities in their role as clients in the social domain. Virtually all projects aim to make a real impact on the lives of vulnerable clients and the environment in which they live. EHdK does work at the managerial level: support at the top of organizations is important for real change. But it also has to be right in practice. Therefore we always work on both strategic and practical level: it has to be strategically sound, but it also has to lead somewhere.
Our team currently consists of 24 people. We work with a team that is diverse in gender, age, cultural/migrant background, education and work experience. Our rate of growth is determined by our own professional growth – executing good projects and achieving real results is our priority. The emphasis in our personnel policy is primarily on personal growth and growth as a professional. Because of this and partly because of our focus, opportunities for advancement within EHdK are great. Our relatively young people sit at the table with our clients very quickly and are given a lot of space to do things themselves. At the same time, the supervision in the work is intensive and solid; only through good feedback do we learn. Partly because of this, EHdK is very well known to our clients. In addition, because of this we have also achieved that the ownership of EHdK now lies with six employees, four of whom started at EHdK after their studies and have progressed to owner.
