Daniëlle is one of EHdK’s new recruits. In the summer of 2023, she graduated from the Free University in Management, Policy Analysis and Entrepreneurship in the Health and Life Sciences. Daniëlle is particularly interested in the role of prevention in vulnerable human care. Through her mother’s work at the Public Health Service, she saw and heard why prevention is better than cure.
After traveling through South and Central America, she came across EHdK through friends. What appealed to her was the “hands-on” approach to complex issues in vulnerable human care. She also wanted to work with a small team where collaboration and rapid learning were key.
Daniëlle is eager to learn and enjoys talking to people to really understand what is going on. Her strengths, encouragement and focus ensure that projects move forward.
In her spare time, she plays soccer at a club in Duivendrecht and enjoys reading a good novel. Here and there she also occasionally crochets a garment.
