With a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a master’s degree in Management, Policy Analysis and Entrepreneurship in Health and Life Sciences, she laid a solid foundation in both scientific thinking and policy making. Early on, she came to realize that the translation between science, policy and society is not equally clear to everyone – and that not everyone has the same opportunity to participate in it. This realization led her to the desire to work to make healthcare more accessible, with special attention to marginalized and vulnerable groups.
At EHdK she works from that conviction: analyzing, connecting, creating understanding. An empathetic go-getter, she is not put off by complicated issues; she believes that clarity in language and policy makes a real difference. Working with others on a single vision gives her energy, as does building bridges between different interests. For her, culture is not only context, but core: it shapes who we are, how we think and how we talk to each other. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading a lot and can be found in the kickboxing gym.
