Sanne has a background in Biomedical Sciences (Science, Business & Policy), where her interest in science, healthcare and practice came together. During her internship at the GGD, she saw how much value it brings when healthcare systems are well connected and speak the same language. That is why she wants to dedicate herself to making healthcare more accessible and people-oriented.

Within EHdK, Sanne deals with projects in highly specialized youth care and the IZA. She believes that good cooperation starts with listening and understanding each other. Sanne gets energy from sparring and likes to bring structure and coherence to complex issues, so parties can get on the same wavelength more easily. She is keen on details and thinks along about feasible steps that teams can pick up immediately.

Sanne lives in Amsterdam. In her free time, she makes music and enjoys being with friends and family.
