Teun is a consultant at EHdK with a background in Public Administration and Political Science. Critical reasoning, opinion forming and debate are a common thread in his life – from (international) debater to trainer and now as consultant with a political-strategic outlook.
Within EHdK Teun mainly works on integrated care and support for people with EPA and on suicide prevention, often together with organizations such as 113 and MIND. His motivation is to contribute to care in which people are really seen: offering appropriate support when things are not going so well, effectively and with attention for what is going on in someone’s life. Teun wants to contribute to working methods that give professionals room to do what is needed. He combines analytical sharpness with the ability to strengthen leadership and ownership: making sure people really stand up for what needs to be done.
Teun lives in Utrecht with his girlfriend and two tomcats. In his spare time he enjoys cooking and immersing himself in wine.
