Youth Care and Security<\/h1>\n

Young people who come into contact with the criminal justice system must have a future to look forward to. We believe this is essential. <\/p>\n

Research shows that, nationwide, there is a lack of appropriate care for young people within the criminal justice system. Click here to view the findings of the studies we conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Security.<\/a><\/p>\n

Providing appropriate support for this target group requires strong collaboration between municipalities, forensic youth care providers, and criminal justice partners (such as the Public Prosecution Service, Child Protection Board, and youth care agencies). That\u2019s why we organised the Youth Welfare and Safeguarding seminar on 14 November 2023 at De Lik in Utrecht. <\/p>\n

Care for the elderly at home<\/h1>\n

The number of older adults in the Netherlands is set to rise sharply in the coming years: by 2040, there will be around 40% more older people. On average, an older person living at home in the Netherlands depends on as many as ten to fifteen different organisations, professionals, and support workers\u2014each with their own roles and responsibilities\u2014who often operate alongside one another without real coordination. <\/span><\/p>\n
