The contrast between the different assignments handled at EHdK is evident in two assignments I am involved in. On the one hand, you have the administrative learning course on suicide prevention, which EHdK has started together with 113 and the Dutch Mental Health Care. In this, through inspiring speakers, in-depth conversations and personality tests, we look together with administrators at their role in suicide prevention within their organization.
On the other hand, I am also involved with a specialist youth aid provider where we identify internal bottlenecks and jointly devise a way forward. We do this through extensive business analysis, multiple interview rounds and intensive coaching. Although in both assignments we help administrators achieve their social goals, the issues and approach are very different for both assignments.
In addition to the various assignments in which we look outward and make an impact on the healthcare landscape, there is also a lot of looking inward at EHdK. By taking a critical look at ourselves as individuals and teams, we hope to work more efficiently and increase our impact externally. Through talent assessments, intervisions, strategy days, training days, and proactive evaluations, we hope to better understand each other as a team and our goals and practices. Additionally, this is a great way for a new employee to quickly become familiar and comfortable with EHdK and the close-knit team.
It is this variety between the varied projects and also the internal reflection that makes working at EHdK so diverse. To be engaged in both your own development and achieving social goals at a high pace is something I personally enjoy immensely.
