The goal of the expertise network is to better equip professionals in providing appropriate care for clients with complex VG and addiction. This aims to prevent crises, disruptions and waiting lists for VGF clients with addiction. The expertise network complex VG/addiction is the first expertise network that the four organizations are setting up together and forms a blueprint for further cooperation on other themes that affect the complex VG target group, such as, for example: psychological vulnerability, sexually transgressive behavior and moderate intellectual disability.
What can you expect from the expertise network?
As mentioned, the goal of the expertise network is to provide tools for professionals working with this target group, making them better equipped to provide appropriate care for clients with complex VGF and addiction. In the coming period, the members of the expertise network will collect the needs in the field of addiction within their own organization. One way they will do this is by asking a number of questions of residential groups/departments where clients with complex problems live/are receiving care. In addition, they will also engage in a conversation about what is needed to improve care for clients with addiction. Based on this, the expertise network will formulate and present in the spring the activities they will roll out in 2023.
Participants expertise network
Someone from each organization has been asked to participate in the complex FGM/addiction expertise group as an attention officer. The following colleagues participate in the expertise network: Kirsten Scholtens (Vanboeijen), Elles Talma (Alliade), Mirjam Tanis (De Zijlen), Annet Sol (Trajectum) and Morwenna Nieuwold (VNN).
