In an earlier exploration, the various bottlenecks in the chain were identified, and improvement proposals were made on the basis of which organizations can strengthen and improve mutual cooperation. The development program “Municipal field in connection with the juvenile justice chain in the district of Oost-Nederland” builds on this.
The goal of the Development Program, on the one hand, is to provide space for municipalities and juvenile justice partners to develop improvement initiatives locally in pilots that can later be implemented throughout the district. For example, the Early Warning pilot is starting in the fourteen municipalities in the Twente region and the Environmental Analysis pilot in Ede. On the other hand, opportunities are created within the program where developments can be shared with each other and where one can learn from each other. To this end, meetings and activities are organized that contribute to, among other things, a shared vision of preventing youth crime, getting to know each other better, better mutual cooperation, sharing information and exchanging knowledge and good examples.
